I have the experience and I can work with others on Boards and Commissions. I have been a volunteer in our Town for over 35 years, beginning as a room parent in my son's MES kindergarten class in1985, moving on to the vice-president of MYAL board, 1990 to 1995. I was asked to run for the Marlborough Board of Education in 1995 and I am completing my 28th year next month. I am currently serving on the Parks and Recreation Commission for 26 years, Nature Trails & Sidewalks Commission for 17 years and Lake Advisory Commission for 17 years. I was a member of the Charter Revision Commission that was formed in 2020 and approved by the voters in November 2021. This past August our Town has hired the first Town Manager of Marlborough and our form of government has been changed. I have served on many other Boards and Commissions and I enjoy what I do, volunteer and giving back to our Town. Living in Marlborough for 47 years, I am a retired licensed home day provider of 36 years. I have had over 150 children go through my home over the years and many still stay in contact with me. Our children are our future. I am honored to serve on the Board of Selectmen, and work as part of a team, for our residents of Marlborough!
