Joe Asklar is a long time resident with his wife, Carol. Joe is a local business owner. They have three adult children, Joe Asklar, Jr., Corinne Machowski and Kevin Asklar that are all married with families residing in Marlborough. He is a member of the Marlborough Volunteer Fire Department and the Town's Fire Marshall for over 40 years. He is the past chair of the Economic Development Commission. Joe has been appointed by Governor Lamont to the State of Connecticut Fire Marshall Training Council. He has a Business Major from St. Michael's College in Vermont.
