To all legal Marlborough voters registered as members of the Republican Party, notice is hereby given, pursuant to the Rules of Republican Party and the State of Connecticut, a caucus will be held Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at 6 P.M. in the Marlborough Senior Center, School Drive, Marlborough, CT. With recent news of white supremacy groups spreading replacement theory fear mongering in multiple towns throughout CT, including Marlborough, the Marlborough Democratic and Republican Town Committees want to offer a joint statement condemning this type of hatred.
Our mission and values align with Marlborough’s Equality Statement, and we are in agreement that there is no room for bias, racism, bigotry, prejudice or violence in Marlborough. This type of behavior is not welcome in our beautiful town.

MISSION STATEMENT Thank you for visiting the Marlborough's Republican Town Committee website. Our mission is to recruit qualified candidates to serve on Marlborough's Boards and Commissions. We believe in Affordability, Open Government, Smart Development, and Education. The Marlborough Republican Town Committee cares about all our residents. From our children to our seniors. Affordability- In today's economy with soaring prices it's imperative that we stabilize our property tax rates. We need to examine the costs of town government, find efficiencies, identify best practices while continuing to reduce our debts and stop over-taxing residents.
Open Government- Our candidates work for the benefit of the residents of this town. We recognize that we are unable to be efficient, effective and above all else transparent unless the people in this town are able to have a say in what happens. Open communication is key. Smart Development- The small town feel of Marlborough is important. Our candidates understand that and will focus on economic development and make Marlborough more attractive for business while keeping our small town charm. Together with conservation, planning, and zoning regulations we will continue to grow our commercial tax base. We want the residents of Marlborough to continue to live here well into retirement. Education- Our children are important and our candidates recognize that Marlborough Elementary School needs to continue to provide quality education for all children of all academic levels. We will strive to be responsive to the ever changing economic climate. Our candidates care about all Marlborough Residents. From our children to our seniors.
