I have lived in Marlborough for almost 15 years. In that time, we've seen quite a few changes, some good, while others may not be the most beneficial fruits of our labor.
The Planning Commission's "pride and joy" is the Plan of Conservation and Development. I, along with many of you, don't agree with what our Plan directs us to do. I stand here affirming that I will stand for more conservation and less development. People move to our community to get away from or otherwise insulate themselves from the hustle and bustle of a community that moves too fast. Let's not let Marlborough get too far, too fast. Join me in pursuing a repeal and replace attitude to be sure we conserve the open space and natural resources we have and let some other community develop themselves until they are busting at the seams.
